When I decided to write about my values and what they mean to me, I had to think for a second because of all the other white noise in my head. But for a few seconds as I stared into space, I drew a blank then reconfigured my priorities based on what are my values. My values are the important aspects of my life that I will not change or give up for any reasons, and yes my values have changed over time with age.
One of the definitions for value is- The worth, importance, or usefulness of something to somebody This is why I value what I am doing for the blog, because it I am keeping a journal for what’s going on in my head, plus I am inspiring others with valuable financial information all at the same time. I wish to assist my readers with self improvement behavior tactics primarily based around money management. I have always wanted to teach others as much as possible about personal finance, and I am achieving it every day through this blog. OK enough tooting my own horn; let’s discuss what are my values?
What are My Values:
Time with Family
Striving every day to Achieve Goals
Increasing my Net Worth Consistently
Decreasing unnecessary Expenses
Learning from others with greater experience
Increasing my cash flow Gap
Putting in Time with Fitness / Sports activities
Being a better Leader
Finding how to incorporate my passion towards fulfilling work
Developing new Skills for Self improvement
Building better relationships in all aspects of life
Giving back to the community
Freedom to live life on my terms
I think we all need to think through what are the values that drive us from time to time. It never hurts to get a refresher on value based thoughts and you can always adjust and change the ones you may not feel the same about. Things evolve and change as the years pass, so it behooves you to change your thinking as well. I desire one day where everything falls into place with how I divide my time based around those values a 100%. As of right now about 8 hours a day is spent concentrated doing work for others, and that takes away from my values. A great day for me is spending time with family while learning something new and achieving a new goal by the end of the day. I just cannot express fully how that makes me feel.
What does a perfect day look like for you? When it’s all said and done your values should be the main driver of how you spend your day. The reality is that some of you may already be doing the actions subconsciously, but you can experience greater joy by analyzing and writing them down to gain further traction. What are my values? It is the importance and worth behind my life and these are the things that drive my life to achieve the best possible outcome for it.
Comment if you know all your most important values off the top of your head?
